Stephen King Compares Donald Trump To Cthulhu; Cthulhu Issues Angry Denial

I love this

That was great. I almost wish I had a twitter account.

I think this is my new favorite campaign logo. Where can I get a yard sign?

Stephen King is Cool!

A few years back, I was vetoed out of getting to see Maine as we traveled through Vermont and New Hampshire on vacation. I was told, “…but there’s Nothing to See in Maine.”
I chose not to fight that battle, but I immediately thought, “Oh, Yes there is…!”

Holy crap, (unholy cap?), found after clicking around a bit from your linked site:
Make R’Lyeh Great Again Also baseball caps!

(I already have a Cthulhu For President Why Choose The Lesser Evil t-shirt as a novelty.)

The “No Lives Matter” T-shirts are a nice touch.

Regards,
Shodan

I’ve become such a corporate drone I don’t even wear T-shirts or ball caps on the weekend :frowning:

I love the gear, though.

Cthulhu doesn’t have small hands. He can pick up and devour 1d6 (or 1d3, who cares at that point?) investigators every round.

On the other hand (heh.), Lovecraft probably would’ve voted for Trump.

I absolutely loved that about CoC. No messing around, just d^n Investigators (PCs) eaten every round.

The only time I got to play, my character survived* by walking out of the room, house and down the road, never looking back, when he realized that the “man” talking to his friends was something a bit…more.

  • For certain values of “survived” that include situations where someone turns into a 300’ tall monster, destroying the house and killing your friends, while you’re busy walking past the neighbor’s house trying desperately not to look back. Probably refers to a short time value.

Thereby proving that Lovecraft was an enabler of horror…

Really, I LMFAO

Nope.

“As for the Republicans – how can one regard seriously a frightened, greedy, nostalgic huddle of tradesmen and lucky idlers who shut their eyes to history and science, steel their emotions against decent human sympathy, cling to sordid and provincial ideals exalting sheer acquisitiveness and condoning artificial hardship for the non-materially-shrewd, dwell smugly and sentimentally in a distorted dream-cosmos of outmoded phrases and principles and attitudes based on the bygone agricultural-handicraft world, and revel in (consciously or unconsciously) mendacious assumptions (such as the notion that real liberty is synonymous with the single detail of unrestricted economic license or that a rational planning of resource-distribution would contravene some vague and mystical ‘American heritage’…) utterly contrary to fact and without the slightest foundation in human experience? Intellectually, the Republican idea deserves the tolerance and respect one gives to the dead.”

I can’t wait for Trump’s reply to this.

Are we sure HPL is dead? He could have written that today.

Er, uh… HPL, is that you?
