Watching those infomercials late at night of music from the 70’s, I saw Steppenwolf singing their classic.
I had never seen them before, only heard and the singer was a way hottie.
What was his name and whatever became of him?
His name was, and is, John Kay, and he is still touring with a band he calls Steppenwolf. He’s the only original member of it, though. I’ve never, ever heard him described as a hottie. He’s old enough to be your grandfather now!
Huh. I just wikipedia’d him and that wasn’t the name he was born with, in Germany.
And it says he was born 1944, which would’ve made him 14 when I was born; not exactly grandfather material.
Oh, we’re the same age, then! Well, he’s old enough to be somebody’s grandfather! Just not ours.
The sunglasses helped too. But he didn’t look bad, and I am not one to hardly ever find a musician attractive. Besides Joey.
