TMZ posted a picture of him. He’s very thin. He looks like he’s dying. I don’t know if I want to link to it though, it’s kind of sleazy for paparazzi to hound a sick or dying man.
Nitpick: if they were short on Apple, then they will buy to replace the shares that they have already sold (which they borrowed in order to be able to sell them).

Wow. He does look bad. Based on the gauntness he’d shown in his last few public appearances, I was going to make a joke that he could shave his head and look like Moby, but after looking at several of the links… he looks like many of the folks I worked with when doing work at a hospice. I’m not a big fan of the guy, but I hope he’s able to concentrate on his health (instead of Apple) and bounce back. Or get good palliative care.

Yeh, there’s no way Steve would be caught wearing dark socks with sandals. Even in his poor health, the man has his dignity.
But he’s been quite thin for a while, especially after his liver transplant. I really hope he’s able to bounce back and hang on for many more years.
That speech he gave to Stanford was pretty damn powerful, especially when he gives his thoughts and perspective on death and his own mortality. Fine words.
