I guess my pretentious literary instincts led me astray in trying to vary my vocabulary and use a synonym. Perhaps that was because the conversation continued when somebody couldn’t let it go.
And with that I think this thread has served its purpose.
No argument from me. I wasn’t the one who resurrected it after it had been dead for two days to carelessly throw around some new unjustified accusations and (apparently oblivious to the irony) lecture people about “letting it go”. Barbara would have been proud.
