Stop Damn Assuming!!!!

Darn it, I thought my memories of the time I believed those “sovereign citizen patriot” arguments were purged from my mind forever, and here you go dredging up the old “gold-fringed flag” argument in disguise. Now I won’t be able to get to sleep tonight. And it’s all your fault.

(Seriously, though, that was quite a hoot!)

Look, the Second Amendment guarantees to all cephalopods the right to bear as many arms as their genetic structure entitles them to. And that is that!

Wally read the purity thread to learn the answer to felching.

I did not find it that disgusting, though I would not want to participate.

I’m surprised no one posted: “when you assume you make an ass of u [sic] and me.”

We assumed everybody already knew it!

Happy to be of assistance.

I guess I’M going to have to stop dam assuming.

thank you for this thread poly, i really hope people are going to notice it and build it into their little brains (no assumption there) that what they might by saying isnt all right and true. IF and only IF it involves someone ELSE(has anyone here learned programming?? ;)).

point being, its been happening to me alot here in SDMB. that is, people tend to twist the words one says into their own understanding(everything ok there). but then they go about yelling that its bullshit and wrong, should be like this or like that(thats where they go wrong).

did you know that one of the smartest man ever to have walked the earth died alone and poor, because nobody understood him. it isnt that he was incomprehensible, it was because the rest of us were stupid.

one more thing:

Sealemon88:

you are making an assumption, what auraseer did was ask a question. your reply wouldnt have been an assumption if you would have said: “are you assuming that this board is surreal?”

Inferences are okay, though. Two or three presumptions are allowed on rhetorical posts. Rationalizations…well shit, go to town.
