Most of the people on SDMB who accuse others of racism are very narrow minded themselves. I can’t tell the width of his head, though.
But, that applies only to the posters who accuse willy nilly. Sometimes, a very racist comment actually is made, and then the rest of the SDMB set them straight.
So, my rule of thumb: If it’s one person accusing several of racism, skinny headed person. If it’s several people accusing one person, real world bias. YMMV
I think Sandino is posting in good faith, since he put a lot of work in a recent thread on marxism. If he just wanted to get a rise out of people, he wouldn’t put so much effort in it. Doesn’t mean of course that his opinions are right, only that he really believes in them.
Aren’t accusations of trolling verboten at SDMB? Not trying to jr. mod it, but maybe agiantdwarf is unaware? Or maybe I’m misinformed?

To the OP: Based on the context, I find it extremely amusing that you’d prefer to silence Sandrino rather than confronting his* views. While his glasses are definitely rose-colored, the positions he offers seem to be cogent and respectful.
Why don’t you try debating Sandrino instead of wishing he’d quit the SDMB?

No, nobody really knows what it means. But it’s an old phrase, and a phrase doesn’t have to mean anything, as long as it means something.
He reminds me of a 19 year old college kid who thinks he’s the first person in the world to discover Marxism. His first post, per the OP, was in response to my (somewhat tongue in cheek post) about Capitalsim and Imperialism. I’m afraid that even those who initially find him “cute” will tire of his dialectic dictats soon enough. For myself, I find it hard to call “cute” someone who sings the praises of the USSR.
