Stop screwing around and fork over the kitten.

I’m also waiting to see the pics. I think Sally is a great name. Since your husband thinks it’s silly…you can always call her Silly Sally.

I think your three year old did great! My cousin’s son just got a dog about 6 months ago and he was 3 at the time. He named his doggy, Sawee. He just couldn’t get those “l” sounds out.

So, we all call her Sawee.

The cat should be named Sally. It’s almost a rule that children get to name the pets unless they pick something really stupid then the child’s pick is the middle name. For example we had a dog with Pizza for a middle name have a cat whose middle name is Whack-a-Dog.

Name the kitten Venom. Just to inject your visitors with a little unease.

Well, thank you all for the suggestions. I pushed again for Sally, but the 3yr old had switched her desired name to “Purry” because that’s what the kitten does.

While her father was out, she and I decided on Lucy and then presented it to my husband as a non-negotiable fact. He was fine with that because he had already suggested it (as short for Lucifer). (and when the 3yr old pronounces it, it’s more like Woosy, but she’ll out grow that just as sure as her sister’s name is not really Cwaire.)

So for all the picture junkies out there, I promise pictures of Lucy at some point in the near future. (I don’t want to risk a second squidding!)
