Stop Sleepwalking

Is there anyway to keep someone from sleepwalking besides tying them down. I’ve just had foot surgery and not allowed to walk without crutches for a while…but I have a tendency to sleep walk somtimes so I’m worried I might hurt myself during the night trying to bump around the house…how can I make sure I stay put safely tucked in?

Some info here

thanks x-ray…i noticed they say drugs and alcohol make it worse…oops my pain pills are pretty strong…yikes

No real suggestions for you I’m afraid, but your post reminded me of a sleepwalking incident that’s worth sharing:

Poker night with the guys, but the host is exhausted and hits the sack around 1:00am, the rest of us decide to play a few more hands anyway.

At about a quarter to two, our host returns to the kitchen where we were playing, opens the cupboard under the sink, pees all over the Ajax, Windex and detergent containers, shuts the cupboard door and goes back to bed!

This in itself was obviously hilarious as hell to the rest of us, but the looks on OUR faces once he had left the kitchen (this was the first and only time)…priceless.

LMAO Great story ookpik I’m afraid my sleepwalking only consists of…running into walls or walking in someone’s room just to talk to them about unimportant things that have occurred to me in my sleep. Doesn’t make them very happy at 4am but evidentally I get some things off my chest
