Straight Dope on Wrinkle removing spray

Years ago a wrinkle removing spray hit the market. I bought a bottle and removed a few wrinkles from shirts and pants. I gave the bottle to a friend who was traveling. She loved the stuff so much that she used the entire bottle. When she attempted to buy a bottle to return to me, it was off the shelves. Google is not its usual help to me on this topic. So, was there a problem with the product? Was it a poor seller? What is the SD?

Was it this Downy Wrinkle Releaser?

Yep, that’s it. I wonder if it is so popular that my grocery store is usually out of it? Thanks saint!

It was discontinued fairly recently, I just bought some a couple months ago. Too bad, it was great for travelling.

Any ideas on why such a well-received product was pulled?

Proctor and Gamble are still selling Downy Wrinkle Releaser from their Downy website. Maybe they changed their coporate mind. A word of warning – the Downy site plays a loud commercial when you arrive.

OK, I contacted the Downy people. I will update this thread if/when I get a reply!

You might have to start asking your laundry if it’s Downy-worthy.
You going to do something about your sideburns?

Heh. Before opening this thread, I thought it was about facial wrinkles. Needless to say, I was skeptical. :dubious:
