Perhaps I have this in the wrong forum. On today’s Chicago Tonight broadcast the subject of the Sun Times’ new ownership was discussed. Craig “The Man Who Will Narrate The Life Story Of bobot” Dellimore mentioned very quickly the Straight Dope Website, as he called it. There was no discussion about it or anything, but it and the Reader were mentioned.

I heard an interview on the radio today (WLS AM) with Edwin Eisendrath, leader of the investor group that bought the Sun Times (and former alderman). He mentioned Straight Dope specifically as being part of the package that they acquired, and mentioned how the future is very much in on-line delivery of content. Although there were no specific mentions of this particular message board, it sounded like a very encouraging attitude.
