Have any contributors to this message board been injured in the terrorist attacks - or worse? Sofa King, for one, seems to have disappeared and I know from reading his posts now and again that he lives in Washington DC. Are there any other people from the New York or Washington D.C. areas whose circumstances are unknown?
I was wondering this, too; but wasn’t sure when would be an acceptable time to ask. One of my first thoughts when I heard about all this was other Dopers.
There are regular contributors to this message board whose names never appear, for one reason or another, in the “huggy”* threads that are started from time to time. Sofa King seems to be one of those and there are probably lots of others. His name isn’t in the check-in thread yet, anyway.
*By that I mean the threads started for voting purposes. The “Who is your favorite [whatever]” kind of thing.
