Straight guy. No and no. I really don’t get the appeal to supposedly straight guys in seeing “lesbian” porn.
Though on another level, I like pic #2 because they look happy together.
I’ve always suspected that this has nothing to do with reality, and a lot to do with male fantasy. In the back of his mind, he doesn’t really think these women want each other, he thinks they’re just doing this because they can’t find a guy. And he can be that guy. If he was in the picture he’d get the attention of two chicks who are already hot and turned on. That’s the attraction of lesbian porn.
I’ve known seceral lesbians – I seem to attract them, or something. Knew several lesbian couples. It was abundantly evident to me that they cared for each other, and couldn’t be less interested in me sexually, so this fantasy has never held any attraction for me.
I don’t agree with this at all. In fact, two women doing each other as a show or for effect doesn’t do anything for me, precisely because they’re not really into each other. Now, two women who are either experimenting for their own sake or sincerely like each other, that’s a turn-on. I think the attraction of lesbian sex is three things:

The girls obviously aren’t prudes. They show abundantly that they’re willing to do “different” things, for want of a better word. It’s exciting for that reason alone.

Women are sexy, sex is sexy, so women having sex is obviously sexy. One woman is hot, two women twice as hot, and so on.

Due to cultural upbringing, somewhere in the back of each man’s head lies the idea that when he has sex with a woman, he should be grateful, because she’s doing it for him. Nice girls don’t really want to, etc. Coupled with female ability to lie about orgasms and basically spin male heads with ease, this means that we’re never really sure what’s going on. When there are two girls they’re obviously doing it because they like it, since there are no men there they could be doing it for. So, it means they really, honestly, like sex. Horniness is sexy.
I think that’s why it works for me, anyway.
As a straight female, I have to agree with this. Sex is sexy. Although the first one doesn’t do as much for me. It is sexy but doesn’t really turn me on or anything. Man on man action is another story, its always been hot me. I’ve tried to explain why many times, but can’t seem to pin it down. Something about two masculine people being intimate . . . . I don’t know.
Well, I agree with everything Priceguy said, and part of what CalMeacham said. Thinking about two women I know as people having sex probably wouldn’t turn me on. When it does turn me on, it’s pretty much as PriceGuy said, but it’s also that women’s bodies are beautiful. Adding a guy into the picture tends to ruin whatever visual beauty may be present.
As for the pics, I thought the first one was beautiful and somewhat erotic, but I can’t say it really turned me on. Maybe if I thought about it longer. The second one, eh. Two guys has never done anything for me, and I doubt it ever will, as far as a visual turn-on.

I recall reading somewhere, there was a study done that expected things to fall the way the OP expected, that straight men would like f-f and f-m but not m-m, and straight women would like m-m and f-m but not f-f, but they discovered that while men did what they expected, women pretty much liked anything, whether they were straight or not. I was sure I read about it on the dope, hold on…

The second picture oogies me a bit. This is such a shame.
I was so proud of myself that I could get over my oogie feeling towards David at the end of last season’s six feet under. At that point I cared about the character, as an individual, and was really into his romantic adventures.
I think I’ve centered in on what the source is of my oogie feeling…and its not something I’m very proud of. I’m wondering if other women feel the same way.
I simply do not know where I stand with gay men. As an OK looking female, I’ve got this idea in my mind that I can stand with a bit of power on my side when it comes to dealings with men. Some kind of sick idea of “they want me” power. With gay men…this whole thing flies out the window. I feel all lost and powerless, and I think they are looking down on me. I think to myself “Gay men have absolutely no use for me as a person.”
This is sad on two fronts…number one, that I think this is all I’m good for when it comes to men, and number two, that I actually believe that all men want me. One of these days, I’ll figure out how to fix this attitude.
That being said, I always succeed in squishing any stupid ideas that this attitude may give me. Thank god the logical portion of my brain still works.

This is something of a revelation to me, and goes some way to explaining the popularity of slash fiction. It appears that women are more… sexual than men (if that makes sense).
