I’d want to go with something like Atlantic Monthly for the mix of articles, but I might just choose The New Yorker because it’s a weekly.
Then again, come to think of it…is Playgirl still in business, and do they have the articles everyone was supposedly reading Playboy for?
I would pick Sports Illustrated. Their subscriptions often come with a football phone which might come in handy. I also like the magazine.
Another vote for The New Yorker. It’s weekly, and longer than hell–at least eight hours of quality reading a week, before you even get to the “about town” crap.
