Strange vBulletin Error Message

I have no complaint or anything, but when I tried to access a thread (in IMHO or MPSIMS, don’t recall right now.) just a few minutes ago, I got this message:

LiveOnAPlane, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

                                                              Log Out Home

I could access everything else just fine. Was the thread being edited or replied to, perhaps? Never seen this one before.

I won’t mention the thread title just in case I am breaking some Dope rules by even asking this.

thread has probably been deleted, most likely for troll activity. no big happens from time to time.

You think thats wierd? Yesterday I was in a thread when it was disappeared. I was reading it, then replied, then when I went back to the main page the thread I had just replied to was gone. Then a few minutes later it was back and my post was there but the person I was making fun of was gone. I guessed they were a sock and made a sarcastic comment but was doing it at the same time as a mod was performing a sockectomy.
