Strapless bra ideas for the big busted?

I’m also quite grateful about this thread. I’m still searching for a strapless bra that doesn’t make my breasts B-shaped, but now I have more ideas and suggestions to work from.

One thing that’s always made me wonder, though: how does one succesfully accomplish this breast-taping thing? I’ve never tried it and I can’t seem to get into my mind how you’re supposed to do it and how the tape is supposed to help support…

Yes it will. I had one of my students try that stunt a few years ago for prom, and she ended up peeling about 6 square inches of skin off her boobs. Not fun.

I’m suprised nobody has mention a corset.

My daughter tried those stick on bra thingys. No support at all. I’m wondering how you’d position the tape to hold the girls up. Anyone who’s had success with that care to share taping hints.

The bra in my earlier post has the extra added feature of being low in back which her dress was also. We did end up using double sided tape to stick the dress to the bra so it wouldn’t show under the arms. We didn’t find that out until she tried to sit down in the dress.

About three strips of first aid tape. The first two truss sort of underneath, from approximately armpit to armpit. The thirds is short and adds cleavage to the girls.

It isn’t exactly a seductive look when you are nekkid - and I wouldn’t want to go jogging (or dancing) wearing first aid tape. But it manages to keep your tits off your knees (or did before I had kids, I haven’t needed to tape them since I had kids)

I’ve used duct tape on occasion to enhance cleavage for photos and not once has it ever taken skin off. If anything it starts to lose grip once the jubblies sweat a little so the problem was more getting it to stick long enough.

The dress I had was red satin, backless, but with a halter string that went around the neck to hold it up in front. The strip of material was too small to cover a halter style bra (it showed pretty badly), so that was the necessity that drove me to the clear packing tape.

I used two strips- one for each breast. I placed the strip on the underside swell of the breast, then brought the ends up and around to form a tear drop shape with the tape. Basically, I anchored my lower breast to my upper chest with the tape. My nipple was in the middle of the tear drop shape of the tape - uncovered. It worked well enough for an evening dinner event. I wasn’t having to dance or bounce around. It was a basic mingle-mingle-dinner- watch a performance-awards type of evening. For anything that required more intensive moving around, I don’t know that the tape would hold.

The Ask The Underwear Sales Girl Thread & The Ask A Bra Professional Thread convinced me there were strapless bra’s out there for us bigger girls.

Then I just went to a good store and let the sales lady advise me. I found strapless bra’s have become much better in recent years. Most now have some sort of anti-slip rubber threadthingies on the inside that prevent slipping down. The one I found (a Chanterelle) fits me fine and offers plenty of support, and it isn’t even a long-line ! It comes with detachable transparent plastic brastraps as well.

… or try googling for adhesive bra’s.
