What has been the first significant event that has spawned the last year +/- string of black related events under scrutiny?
This sort of story has a long history but the current higher level of attention paid to it clearly started with the Trayvon Martin shooting. That story was huge, much bigger than any comparable previous story.
I’m going to go with Slavery. That was a fairly significant even that seems to have led us here.
I mean the shooting, what back in the summer, kid in ferguson. I just saw the initial riots from that, so ok im thinking, its going to subside, there is no mass wave conspiracy of black / police agenda. then it goes.
