I want to take some correspondence courses through LSU, because they’re cheap and I need to get my GPA up. So I call up the office, and ask about availability of student loans for them. She tells me that since they don’t offer degrees, they aren’t eligible for them (I guess the LSU Independent Study program is different than LSU?). Asked about unsubsidized. Nope, not even those.
So, Dopers… what other sources of money do I have open to me?
