Non-title IV private student loans

I have been accepted by a grad program overseas that I am interested in attending. However, this school is an ineligible title-IV school which does not allow me to apply for federal Stafford loans or others that require the school to be an “eligible” institution. I know the terms of private student loans are not as good as those that are federally subsidized, but I am having a hard time finding any private loans that are eligible for these types of schools.

Are there any dopers with experience in this type of problem?

unfortunately, i’m in the situation.

except i went ahead and scrambled to pay for my first year here. now that my funds are about to dry up. i am left with the great prospect of having no idea what to do.

its kind of unfortunate when you think about how difficult it is to study abroad. i guess we are the minorities. not many people go to foreign schools obscure enough not to be on some american loan list.
