If this works out, this can be the thread of asking if anyone knows where one can purchase or order stuff that they haven’t been able to locate.
What I want but can’t find is small packets of medicine like those that come with first aid kits but have use-by dates that mean they should be replaced periodically. I have a perfectly good first aid kit with bandaids, gauze, tape, scissors, tweezers, gloves, mouth-to-mouth mask, tourniquet, etc., etc.- I just need small packs of painkillers, antihistamines, anti-diharrheals, topical creams and so forth.
Somewhat; everything I found for “refills” was more bandaids, gauze packs, and prep wipes, which are easy to get. Travel-size aspirin and acetaminophen are also easy to find. But buying a whole box of each over-the-counter medicine I might possibly need would be mostly wasted.
I’m quite sure I’ve seen them in drug stores sold in smaller quantities/individually, but maybe just find a place that has them in a vending machine and buy a few of each.
Another option might be to get a small container and stick a few of each pill in it with the date marked on it and a note to remind yourself to replace them every few years (I assume that’s the part you’re worried about since you mentioned an expiration date in the OP).
Was going to suggest this. Highway rest stops, hotels/motels sometimes have vending machines with stuff like that. Amazon has packets but doesn’t solve your problem because you have to buy a box full of packets. A refill set of common OTC medications for first aid kits would a great find. Probably is something out there.
Dollar Tree stores sell that kind of pill packaging for $1.25 each. Like three dated paper packages of a dose of Tylenol, etc in a little box for $1.25.
