Stuff like this doesn't help...

I got an e-mail from Saudi this morning about this. Rush to judgement and inaccuracies, either from the FBI or reporting will not make the end task any easier.

A second similar story I found in a different source.

I see a few different possible explanations for this sort of thing: [li]Inaccurate reporting by US media. []Deliberate misinformation by one or more sources. []Inaccurate information from the FBI (under pressure to turn up quick results). []Confusion over Arabic names.[/li]
In any event, this is very dangerous stuff.
[sup]*Americans will likely see this as an intentional “muddying of the waters”. Arabs and Muslims will see this as a manipulation by the Zionist controlled press to cast aspersions on them. Pick your poison.

Moving this to MPSIMS.

I just checked Time. They listed an “Abdulaziz Alomari” (their spelling) as one of the hijackers.

But, from the second link, we have: "The paper published an interview Monday with another alleged Saudi suspect, Abdelaziz Al Omari, who said he too was alive and well, and that he was an engineer who had no idea how to fly a plane.

He said his passport was stolen in the United States in 1995."

So one of the hijackers took an innocent person’s identity. Inaccurate info from the FBI, and haste on the part of the media, but as you said, they were under pressure. In any case, no conspiracy.

Here ya go, Shibb.
