Stunning (in a good way) customer service

The mattress that came in our new travel trailer was terrible. After the first camping trip, ordered a new $700 queen short mattress, it is what the invoice for the trailer said was installed. Got the new mattress, it was 5 inches too short for the mattress platform. Called the mattress company and asked about their 100 day money back warranty. Yep, ordering the wrong size is included in the warranty. The sent the regular queen mattress that fit perfectly and were told to donate the other to charity. Despite my best efforts, I could not find a charity that wanted a brand new mattress. Told the company that no charities wanted the first mattress, they told me to just give it away to someone I am not related to. I looked at the wanted section of Craigslist and found someone needed a mattress for his mother, she just moved to the US from Vietnam. They gladly accepted the mattress. Sent proof the the mattress company like they wanted, they sent me a form to use for a $700 tax deduction for charitable donations.

Now that’s REALLY good customer service!

^ Quite agree!

Although, yours is a heart-warmer first rate.

Well, it’s Amazon. Ordered some new Bose noise cancelling headphones a couple weeks ago. USPS has lost 5!!! of our packages in the last 2 weeks, including the kinda-pricey headphones. Went to the online chat with someone with a very Indian name (own it!) and he had a replacement sent out in under 5 minutes. Of course it shipped USPS… Clear, concise, easy. Gave him 5 stars all around.
