My dumb-ass roommate left the screen on the patio doors open, and now there is a stupid ass horsefly the size of one of my pet bunnies in here!
Carp! Now I’m never going to get to sleep! (I hate horseflys.)

If they are up in the corner or flying all over like crazy, I usually get the vaccuum and suck it up. I think it is more humane to let it suffocate inside the vaccuum cleaner bag or choke on a hairball, than to let it starve to death inside your house.
