I have a small galley kitchen and am in a powerchair. Somehow my 2 cats have the idea that running behind me/leaping over the footrest/slipping beside me while I’m turning around from sink to stove to fridg will make food come faster:smack: One is quite portly and is lame due to an earlier accident, both are old ladies. They got shut up in the bedroom. The only question is “Why?”
I’ve seen this behavior all the time: cats, dogs, packs of small children… whoever’s closest to where the food comes from gets fed first.
This. Mayme, the round one, hops up onto the sink ledge when I’m dishing out breakfast; however, due to her size and un-catlike lack of grace, she frequently overshoots and lands in the sink. Often full of just added hot, sudsy water. Does that stop her from doing it the next morning? Of course not. She HAS to get there before her sister.
