It’s not even just a case of mistaken identity. Even if they had the right person, it’s still murder. You are not allowed to kill people for vandalism.

The fact that the person that they murdered was completely uninvolved just makes the gun owners that much stupider, but no less evil.

made me wince not only for that, but also because it was said by

From earlier this month in Louisiana, a woman was assaulted, and her child threatened, in their own home, by a man with a gun.

She told deputies that Charles came into her home while she was sleeping and began hitting her with the gun. The woman sent a text message to a family member for help. When the family member called the woman’s cell phone, Charles pointed the gun at her 8-year-old son’s head and threatened to kill him if she did not say “everything was fine,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

Charles then forced the victim and child into her car at gunpoint and drove them to a nearby store parking lot to watch if police responded, authorities said. When the suspect determined police were not called, he drove back to the home and held the woman and child against their will.

In St Louis, earlier this month, a woman and her child are kidnapped at gunpoint while in their car.

The man walked up to a woman who was sitting in her car in the Aldi parking lot. A 5-year-old child also was inside the car at the time. The woman told police he pulled out a gun, got in her car and demanded that she give him a ride out of the area.

As a bit of a change up, kids kidnapping adults at gunpoint, as here in St Louis a couple weeks ago.

Dillon allegedly entered the woman’s St. Louis County home and held her at gunpoint as she was entering at 11 p.m. in late September, according to the charges. He then abducted her, forcing her to drive her vehicle to a second location where he then raped her at gunpoint.

The woman, who is in her 30s, and Dillon had no known connection to one another. After Dillon allegedly raped her, he forced her to withdraw $500 from her bank and ordered her to give it to him.

He then forced her to drive to another location, where he sexually assaulted her at gunpoint a second time.
