Stupid Gun news of the day (Part 1)

This is actually very common with the guys I hunt with:

The really manly men (and women) go a step further down the safety path to blaze pink:

Now that right there is funny.

Not sure of the sourcing for this century old bit of stupid gun news, but the image in the tweet claims that, while most property owners making claims against the city for damage resulting from the Tulsa massacre riot, one that was approved was for the gunshop owner who had weapons taken from his store to shoot black people.

I see a man walking through the forest wearing a getup like that, and I think to myself, “Hey, that’s a man, not a deer, I shouldn’t shoot him.”

The crib sets are a bit odd though. Are we taking the crib out hunting with us, or are we hunting for deer inside the house? Either case, I suppose I can commend the person who wants to practice gun safety.

I have my doubts. Seeing that nightmare, I might have to struggle to restrain myself.

Are they African or European swallows? Laden with or without coconuts?

To really get an explosion of outrage - wear gay pride blaze hunting jackets.

That seems entirely sensible; I can only conclude the hunters who insist on green and brown camo have some kind of fantasy about going Rambo against some invading Russians who male the mistake of landing in the wrong guy’s home turf while he’s out hunting.

As a number of those pics make extremely clear the ‘full camo including gun’ are turkey hunting (Pic three clearly shows a ‘call box’).

In Ring doorbell video obtained by ABC13, you can see Bruno running out with the owner following immediately behind. The owner can be seen telling the dog to come back in the house. The dog roams out onto the street, and less than a second later, multiple shots rang out. Gunshots were then followed by extended screaming by the little boy’s parents.

I mean, at least the dog wasn’t hurt…

I guess this could belong in the positive gun news thread.

Fortunately the gun was unharmed and the shooter unmolested by law enforcement (though gently chastised).

According to the Newsweek article PastTense gave

Either that or they are hunting birds. Turkeys, ducks and geese have very high visual acuity and you have to go to some fairly weird lengths to fool them but ya, anyone out hunting deer who’s not wearing blaze camo is either really old or an idiot.

A 12-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl broke into a home, found weapons and opened fire on deputies. Florida, doncha just know.

yeah, that house had 12 guns the girl had a sawed-off pump shotgun and the boy had an ak47 but there were even more shotguns and the like and some that may not have been legal …

You guys are about 9 hrs too late!

See, even more positive news. By breaking in a stealing/revealing the guns - they prevented delayed some loon from executing his devolved, I’m going to be famous, revenge fantasy.

Two year old kills himself with handgun:

So, let me see, 2A includes “… the right to keep and bear arms …” When a couple of youngsters break into your house and “find” some guns, it seems like you are failing at the keeping part.
