Stupid Gun news of the day (Part 1)

Other cops are the leading cause of death for cops. They don’t seem to mind.

Got a cite for that? I thought it was covid or, in normal years, cars. Neither of which are unarmed black men, of course.

Here are the FBI stats for 2019.

So. . .
47 by firearm
40 by car

And last year

More than 100 law enforcement officers – mainly police, sheriffs, and corrections – have died from COVID-19 on the job this year, which is more than from gun violence, car accidents, heart attacks, or other causes, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page.

Bad guy with a gun shoots and kills a cop. Good guy with a gun shoots bad guy with a gun. Cops arrive, shoot and kill good guy with a gun. Oops.

Nobody could have predicted that, though.

Wonder if MEB will decide to post this same story in his daily affirmations blog?

Looks like instead he posted a tragic story about a man who broke into a mouse’s house, murdered the moose, and claimed self defense :frowning:

Hickory Dickory Dock
Dead mouse, now to prison (to eat c-ck).
My cellmate looks like The Rock.
Hickory Dickory Dock

You know mouse and moose are a bit different size?

…I hate autocorrect

Do not let moose
Lick your car

A moose bit my sister once…

How would I stop them?

Surely you have a (hopefully large caliber) gun? Shoot it!

It was an actual road sign in AB

Proofreading beats autocorrect.

Dan

Yet another road rage incident involving a gun in, no surprise, Texas.

The police, at least, are perceiving an increase in the number of incidents.

Dallas Police Association President Mike Mata expressed frustration about the increase of road rage violence and the limited impact that policing can have on those crimes.

Getting the thoughts outta my brain before my ADHD screws me beats proofreading.

On a lighter note…

Being almost at the 10K limit I don’t feel like scrolling back to see if he’s also in this thread, but LockPicking Lawyer’s YouTube clips on badly engineered “gun locks” and “gun safes” have been cited in other threads as a source of examples of unsafe gear – and this recent one strikes me as an example of manufacure/design stupidity [1311] StopBox’s AR-15 Chamber Lock - YouTube

(And of how the purchasers should rightly feel stupid for shelling out $150 for it…)

10 yo boy and 8 yo girl left alone. Boy finds a gun and kills himself.
