I think the takeaway here is that parental rights only apply to conservative parents, because any parents that don’t agree with right-wing radicalism are crazy and don’t deserve a say in how their children are educated.

After the shooting, Des Moines Police detectives carried out five residential search warrants and six vehicle search warrants and recovered six firearms, police said in a news release. Six Des Moines residents between the ages of 14 and 17 have been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder, according to police.
I’m curious as to who is responsible for providing these guns, and if they will see any accountability. (I seriously doubt it.)
Of course not, making them suffer any kind of consequence would be a serious violation of their second amendment rights and the start of a slippery slope that leads directly to genocide.

South Carolina boater rescues man from lake (twice) then shoots him dead in self defense. No charges filed.
Because it was ruledself defense. A man and woman without PFDs fell off their jet-ski. A couple in a pontoon boat rescued them.
For some reason the jet-ski guy then repeatedly attacked the rescuers, to the point his friend shoved him back in the water. They rescued him again, he continued attacking and the pontoon boat captain shot him.
Crazy situation!

According to the story, the bar patrons will get a hand stamp that prevents them from entering the gun range, and guns will be prohibited in the bar: shoot, drink & carouse (unarmed), go home. All kinds of precautions – locks are designed to keep honest people honest, but fail against the person who really want to get past them. Most customers will, as with any business, be honest, but all it takes to fugly things up is the one who is not.

A Pennsylvania man stole a gun from his friend’s widow, then used the gun to kill his dog and burn the dog’s remains in a firepit.
Officers found Nikolay Lukyanchikov sitting on a couch on his front lawn, “incredibly intoxicated” with a .25 blood-alcohol level and unable to speak. He was setting fake $100 bills on fire with lighter fluid inside a metal fire pit. On top of the fire pit was a barbecue grate, on which Lukyanchikov had placed a small greyhound dog that had been badly burned. After the fire was extinguished, the officers determined the animal had been apparently shot in its eye.
Lukyanchikov told his roommate he shot the dog to punish it for going upstairs. In a later interview with detectives, Lukyanchikov admitted to the shooting and chalked up his behavior to “having a bad day."
Good thing that barring him from buying or possessing a gun will keep it out of his hands.

No, the kid had an unintentional, tragic incident, one that will probably haunt him the rest of his life.
The adult who left the gun unsecured where a kid could get it was grossly negligent, putting into place the pieces that resulted in this very avoidable tragedy.
Another mass shooting… this time in Sacramento. This time they actually list in the charges the exact words, “Possession of a Machine Gun”. After years of it being bandied back and forth about what is an assault weapon, this guy says “hold my beer” and uses an actual machine gun. I’m almost wondering what he decided to rip apart dozens of lives with: was it an old M3 ‘grease gun’, a WW2 surplus MP-40, a ‘Swedish-K’, or even a SAW?
Are actual machine guns floating around us or was this stolen from some prop room or museum and modified back to full fire?
