Wouldn’t it be funny if the Pope called Santorum up and told him to stop speaking against what the Catholic Church believes? Threatened him with excommunication maybe?
You know you’ve just called up Beetlejuice, right?
Anyway, can’t wait for the explanation of how young men who enter the priesthood were somehow taught that it’s OK to fuck children by their (presumably liberal) parents and peers. Should be hilarious.
Is it Rape Month? Rapenade is half-off during Rape Month.
Notre Dame is a bad example. They clearly went apostate when they allowed President Obama to deliver a commencement speech.
It must be a clearance sale, because Rape Month is almost over.
The real reason was that they thought the Saracens had WMDs, of course.
Just machine guns and a funny pronunciation.
His Crusades revisionism is the flip side of the more liberal story of evil Crusader invaders who forced the completely peaceful and cultured Saladin to defend himself.

From 2003:
So, two-way TVs in everyone’s home it is then. No need to thank us, it’s all for the common good. By the way, we’ve checked your wife’s medical records and the Fuck Police will be stopping by later to confiscate her birth control pills, Comrade. You might also want to dispose of those “toys” in your nightstand, unless you want to be brought up on formal charges of Doing Things in a Sexual Realm that are Counter to How Things Are Supposed to Be.
From the Philadelphia Enquirer Dec 17 2009
Why? Well, maybe because Americans don’t like being told what to believe. Maybe because we have learned to be skeptical of “scientific” claims, particularly those at war with our common sense - like the Darwinists’ telling us for decades that we are just a slightly higher form of life than a bacterium that is here purely by chance, or the Environmental Protection Agency’s informing us last week that man-made carbon dioxide - a gas that humans exhale and plants need to live, a gas that represents less than 0.1 percent of the atmosphere - is a dangerous pollutant threatening to overheat the world.
Speaking of Santorum, is it just me, or is the GOP nomination race turning into battle of the douchebags?
Robot Romney and his fancy underwear, Newt and his patriotic adultery, and Santorum and his contraception nonsense. It’s like they are trying to out douche each other.
Maybe it’s just me.
“They are taking faith and crushing it. Why? When you marginalize faith in America, when you remove the pillar of God-given rights then what’s left is the French Revolution. What’s left is a government that gives you rights. What’s left are no unalienable rights. What’s left is a government that will tell you who you are, what you’ll do and when you’ll do it. What’s left in France became the the guillotine.”

That is synonymous with, “Who is the most conservative?”, which is the most important thing about being nominated by the GOP.
It’d be nice if candidates could stop using the Bible to justify their campaign platforms.
I wish you people would stop picking on Santorum. About the only thing that might get the Republican Party back to being more centrist and less insane is for someone like Rick to get nominated and be soundly defeated in November.
No matter which douchebag they choose, they will be soundly defeated in November, I believe.
Will this lead to reform within the Republican party? Less insane? Don’t hold your breath!
Not worth the risk that he might actually win, as low as that is.
I understand the strategy, but I can’t share the blissful certitude over the “let’s hope they run their craziest motherfucker!” gambit. Not when it was the goofy specter of a President Palin, nor a Bachmann, nor now. I just don’t have enough faith in the electorate.
If he does win the nomination, Dan Savage better form a contingency escape plan.
Headline on Drudge is ‘Santorum’s Satan Warning’. Developing…
Should be good.
I remember when the idea of Reagan as president was a joke on All In The Family.
And 8 years of W…
Nothing would energize the centrists and the left more than the possibility of a Santorum presidency.
Unless a woman’s right to *vote *gets taken away between now and November, it’d be a lock.
Santorum’s latest stupidity is simple, willful ignorance of basic English lexicon, by misusing the word theology. It’s pretty clear that what he should be saying is just the word ideology, but I guess he thinks it sounds more evil to say that the administration promotes a different religion, rather than simply a different idea or principle. Buy a dictionary, stupid.
