I’m curious of examples of the SuperFriends being “stupid”…other than the fact that the cartoon was made for a target audience of 6 year olds.
Jedi Council’s major fuck ups lead to the Empire and 2 decades of oppression.
SuperFriends never had a fuck up that couldn’t be fixed in 30 mins.
The SuperFriends were only ‘kid’s show’ and ‘Silver Age Comics’ stupid - ie, mildly dumb, but the villains were pure neutronium, and the civilians pretty dense, too, and the universe functioned on ridiculous premises that made their moon logic perfectly accurate.
The Jedi, on the other hand, dealt with mostly competent enemies (if not ones who could aim, or who adhered to safety regs), and got chumped pretty thoroughly, even when they weren’t shooting themselves in the foot.
Judging from the prequels, the Jedi are comically inept.
