Well … here is the latest update from rockleland.
The DQ up the road is closing effective tomorrow, 9/3. It has been bought out. By … well, I’m sure you can guess. Grand opening is slated for October 31st. em and especially Skip are welcome to visit any time.
And, the newest Stupid rockle Family Argument - “What the hell do you mean, you don’t like those curtains? Or that wallpaper? Or this paint? You picked these freaking things out!” (We are buying a house, and apparently we both need to have serious anti-psychotic drugs prescribed.)
A related argument: “No, it is not ‘weird’ that it bothers me that everything in the bathroom is black or white except the tub, which is a hideous shade of beige! Can’t we paint it or something? It doesn’t match! No, I do not have a ‘Martha Stewart complex!’ Shut up!”
