I’m considering buying a new Subaru Legacy. Maybe adding the optional subwoofer/amp. I didn’t have much time to amble round the dealership (as if anyone would want to slow down in a car dealership), so I didn’t get a chance to hear the sound coming out of the upgrade sound system, with sub, on a Legacy. But I also don’t want to pony up any money for it without an idea of what it can do. Subaru website decidely unhelpful. Subaru brochure doesn’t say much about it other than it exists. Salesman seemed almost surprised they offered it.
Anybody have any experience with a Subaru Legacy? What are there sound systems like? Especially, what could I expect from the optional underseat sub/amp?
Any [other] autos out there similar to a Legacy, that has a good sound system?
FWIW, gonna be trading in a '98 Caravan that had the 10 (or was that 8) speaker infinity system. Liked that sound.
