Subliminal Messages

Factual Questions
1

Hi,

I’ve been reading a lot of information about the effectiveness of subliminal messages lately. Was curious if anyone had the straight dope on the effectiveness of those weird subliminal videos.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the boards, StubbyElvis.

Cecil has addressed subliminal messages a few times:

Are subliminal messages secretly embedded in advertisements?

Do subliminal tapes played while you sleep really work?

Does subliminal advertising work?

In short, it’s bunk.
