All right, I’m trying to resub, but for some reason, I’m getting, “Unable to charge credit card.” What gives-is this a problem on my end-or the board’s?

Are you sure your entered all the info correctly?
Or maybe it’s a conspiracy.
Due to pure envy, somebody might be conspiring to make all Charter Members a just a plain old lowly “Member”.
And where else to start than with the member with kajillion posts.
Or something.
I tried it twice-didn’t work. I’ll try again later, but it still irks me.
I used to have tons of problems when I moved.
At my old address I had two addresses, one a street address and one a mailing address.
When I switched my cards over I only had a single address. No matter how I explained it to them they would only change one of the addresses and the other was stuck in the system for e-tail to trip over.
Same thing with phones. I went from a land line and a cell to just a cell. They kept arguing with me that my cell no was in there correctly, but the e-tailers always wanted the now-dead land line.
This happened on every single card, even when I went into the bank and got their assurances that they understood.
Fretwork has a good point; it could be something like the address validation. In the address fields, are you entering information just as it shows up on your statement?

Not sure what’s going on here. What did you do last year?
Yep, indeed.
Tuba, I don’t know-I believe I entered the exact same info. I’m going to try again tonight. sigh
It’s doing it AGAIN. No reason, nothing. It worked the other day for another purchase. What the HELL?

Figure it out by next year, OK?
It worked somehow. I got a notice that it went through. Weird.
Er, see Frank’s post above yours.
You think that’s wierd? Check the time stamp on Frank’s post. Not only is he sponsoring subscriptions, that son of a gun has spoken to us from the FUTURE! Either that or you’re stuck in the past, in which case it’s no wonder you can’t see Frank’s post above yours-- it didn’t even exist when you made your follow-up comment.
This is exactly like “The Lake House.”
Er, uh, there’s a time stamp and a date stamp. Look again.
Uh, yeah. I guess I got confused, and now I’m embarrassed. Which is, interestingly enough, exactly how I felt after watching “The Lake House.”
Heh, those two knuckleheads, I tell ya!
Dammit-why did you do that? I could have done it through pay-pal. I just needed to get the security code on my card-it was rubbed off.
Thanks, though. :o
It’s good to know what the problem was, thanks for sharing that with us.
