Would it be possible to set up some alternative payment methods? eg NetTeller? Because I could pay that way.
Usually, if you ask around, there are others willing to front the payment and collect from you via snail mail checks, etc. 
I think there was a thread on this just recently…
It’s not that I don’t have money, it’s that at this precise moment I’m having trouble with my credit card. I’ve got money in my netteller account, though.
While we cannot accommodate your specific request, you may well be able to work something out with one of your fellow Dopers.
It’s not as elegant a solution as you might like but it IS a working solution, if you but ask for it.
