For fucks sake, are you for real?
I’m going to go research these podcasts so I can have an informed discussion with you, tell me which ones I need to find.
I just did. If it takes more than that you really can’t be helped.
You said one of them but you implied this was a pattern of behavior, what are the other ones?
I actually have my ears wide open and have read quite a lot about this. The proof is far from overwhelming.
Further, it is more likely I will listen to people I respect and whose judgement I trust rather than some anonymous internet rando with a bug up their ass.
English is not my first language, i am not sure where you got that i implied it was multiple podcasts but it was not my meaning. There is certainly a pattern of nazi behavior throughout his entire life. People are quick to dismiss the tattoo as him not knowing, but by his own claim he is a big fan of World War 2 history so even that is hard to believe.
Once again, what do you call someone who goes on antisemite podcasts and proclaims himself a big fan?
Fair, so it’s just one podcast. Here it is! I listened to some of it while burning through the transcript, at no point does Graham say “he’s a big fan of [Nick’s] YouTube channel,” maybe he said that somewhere else? Nick describes himself as a “pretty far right conservative” but his channel as of late is filled with nothing but anti-MAGA videos. Nick and Graham talk about 1) Graham’s military experience which led him (and Nick agrees) to a general distrust of the government, war, and the military industrial conflict (Nick seems to be very opposed to actions in Iran), and then 2) ICE information and immigration, which they were both very opposed to Trump’s ICE activity and Nick seemed agreeable to Graham’s favorable view of immigrants. Then Graham lost his connection and Nick went on for another 4 hours about stuff I’m not going to waste my time on.
So… where’s the Nazism? The praise of Nazis? You’re acting like you know a lot about this, fill in the gaps.
Right here btw, you said he “goes on anti-semitic podcasts”, the S at the end of the word podcasts indicates plurality. If he’s only done it once, then the proper English grammer would be to say that he “went on an anti-semitic podcast.”
Of course, you haven’t even really established that, so…
I would call them a better choice for the Senate than Susan Collins, proven fascist supporter.
If he gets elected and pulls a Fetterman (without having a stroke) or flips parties, then it is exactly like re-electing Collins. So even if you think there is a 95% chance he is a Nazi/Trojan Hourse, it’s still a better bet.
I have more respect for the people willing to admit they are voting for a nazi in order to stop trump than those willingly deluding themselves into thinking they are not.
I’m not mocking that, I’m mocking your certainty that he will lose. That’s the laugh.
How do we know Collins doesn’t have Nazi tattoos but is just better and keeping them covered in public? ![]()
no, they’re just taking the tack of most of the people on here, “Anyone but a republican”, no matter what he does or says.
I mean it is more subtle than that. Collins herself is about as bland as oatmeal, performatively bipartisan politician as national-level Republicans get. She just usually timidly enables evil, which means she sucks overall. There is a scenario, pretty remote but not impossible in our crazy world, that if Platner were a true Trojan Horse he could end up enabling evil to an even more toxic degree. Genuine neo-Nazis are in fact at least potentially worse than bland, cowardly corporatists (depends how much power each has, basically).
Now, I suspect Platner is a little less likely a full-on card-carrying, water-toting neo-Nazi than he is a pro-working class addled moron with vaguely antisemitic and “anti-Woke” leanings (which sadly a good chunk of the working class share). That’s bad enough for me to think twice about wanting to enable him. Considering how he has apparently harped on the Democratic Party establishment more than once, it seems like there is a decent chance of him at least ending up as a Manchin/Sinema/Fetterman sort. But then I was on record as saying I thought a Manchin was better than a Republican.
Pragmatically is Platner still the better bet? Yeah, probably. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t still give me the ick, though.
Every (R) holding elective office is the problem.
Tell that to folks who elected Joe Lieberman and continue to elect Bernie. New Englanders are weird.
Please favor the less connected among us with a link citing that having happened.

Personally, I consider podcasts in general to be a waste of time. YMMV (and if it does, that’s just more evidence that I’m sharing the planet with people who are wrong about things. Which I’m okay with).
If that were true all three of them would still be supporting Eric Swalwell. So, incorrect.
This criticism of Platner can be traced to a yahoo news article:
In late January, however, Platner sat for a lengthy online interview with Nate Cornacchia, a retired Green Beret who has also promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories. Near the end of their hour-long conversation, Platner, a fellow military veteran, called himself “a longtime fan” of Cornacchia’s YouTube channel, “Valhalla VFT,” and said it was “an absolute pleasure being” on the show.
So who is this guy that Platner interviewed with? Yahoo continues:
Cornacchia, whose show claims nearly 500,000 YouTube subscribers, has in recent months helped stoke a burgeoning far-right conspiracy theory alleging that Israel was involved in the assassination of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Two days before speaking with Platner, for instance, Cornacchia went on a podcast hosted by Jake Shields, a former mixed martial arts fighter who is now a prominent Holocaust denier, and pointed to what he described as “huge links” connecting Israel to Kirk’s killing. “The biggest one, the way I look at it, is because he was basically so important from the Zionist side to the young right wing, sort of that counter Nick Fuentes audience” that “Israel needs desperately,” he said.
“Charlie Kirk said that he was tired of being bullied by his Jewish donors” and that he “no longer could support the pro-Israel cause, and he was dead 48 hours later,” Cornacchia added on the show, where he also agreed with Shields’ assertion that President John F. Kennedy had “probably” been assassinated in a covert “venture between the CIA and Mossad,” the Israeli intelligence agency. “100%,” he replied.
So Platner is a longtime fan of a dubious youtube influencer. Turning on my VPN and loading the youtube channel into a private window so that I don’t feed my algorithm, I can report that these were some of the recent videos:
Hoo boy. I guess he’s a conservative anti-MAGA conspiracy theorist. Who uses sarcasm, so bear that in mind when reading the titles.
