Suggest some autumnal poetry

Dopers,

I’ve never really read poetry, but recently I’ve just finished a translation of Virgils Bucolics and Eclogues (Project Gutenberg link ) and found I really enjoyed it.

However, the days are getting shorter and colder where I am (Edinburgh, Scotland) and I’d like to read something more suited to the season. So, dopers, who has written poetry about autumn (not necessarily in the UK) ? What should I read that would suit my autumnal mood? Bonus points if it’s available from Project Gutenberg (i.e. old).

Thanks,

P_D

After Apple Picking is my favorite autumn poem.

wind shivered leaves
arcing on tired stems
blazing gold and crimson
sun sugars changing
breaking free
fluttering down
skittering past empty streets
brushing the earth
wheeling into the wind
on a lemon bright, cloudless day
the sky is opening into the heavens
I am falling
to you
