I’ve thought about this for a long time, yet I’m too lazy to search the ATMB forum to see if it’s been answered.
Is there any way you could put more space between the “Submit New Thread” button and the “Preview Post” button? Or make the Preview button a lot larger than the submit button?
I’m comvinced that half of the accidental posts are due to the fact that the buttons are so close together and members just hit the wrong one. If you could move them to the extreme left and right sides, I think a good bit more self-editing will happen.

Hey! Your thread title says “suggestions for improvement”! I count only one suggestion! Do you realize how much bandwidth we could have saved if you had left off that unnecessary character?
That would require custom changes to the vBulletin software. The Reader is extremely reluctant to make such changes for a number of reasons. Some of them are: lack of resources to do so and maintain, uncertainty as to whether the benefits would outweigh the cost of the change, possible loss of support from vBulletin.
You could go to the vBulletin site http://www.vbulletin.com/ and suggest that they change the software.
That makes sense. Maybe vBulletin can spiff up future versions to make it harder to post accidentally.
