I know it’s too late for this coming version update, but it’s not going to be the last update.
It would make a better search if the qualifiers were “intersected” instead of “added”.
When you ask for a key word ANd a person’s name, you want to know when that person used that word.
Now you get any thread with that person and anyone else using that word.
When you ask for a person’s name, and a date, like last 5 days, you expect to get things they said lately.
But the way it is now, you get any thread they were ever on that got a hit in the last 5 days. There’s no way to just see if someone is still around and where they are posting.
And if you ask for a person’s name and “subject only”, you should get just threads started by that person, not 2000 posts over 20 pages.
Also, on the search results page, there should be numbers, like on the main forum lists, to quickly get to another page. Usually, it’s fun to look for a person’s first post. No can do.
