Aquarium is empty. Fishies are in a bucket - the buyer took the first load home and he’s on his way back for the second. I wrote up a bill of sale that they’ll both sign. Soon the tank will be no more and the piano will live against that wall.

Well, pooh. I was making a sammich before leaving and I got a text that my crabber was in already. I hadn’t left home yet, so I just get paid the check-on-line-for-crabbers fee. And no mileage. Ah well…
The aquarium is out of the living room and sitting in the garage waiting for the buyer to come get it next week. He took some miscellaneous stuff with him, but most is still here. I made up a bill of sales and we both have signed copies - just a formality, but I feel better that we’ve made it sorta official.
**FCD **is disassembling the plumbing. We need to patch some holes thru the sheetrock - I bet we don’t have any scraps lying around, either. Dammit.
I’m gonna take my sweetie out for lunch, then who knows what the rest of the day will bring? I see carpet cleaning in my future…
Howdy Y’all! Home from deheathenization. Cornbread is bakin’ away and in a couple minutes I shall start the warm up of the poke tenderloin and veggies as well as the makin’ of gravy. N.O.L. shall be nummy!

I made my annual pilgrimage to the top of Mt. Mitchell today. I got there before 10 so it was very foggy and silent, just the way I likes my pilgrimage mountains.
I guess I need to think about what I want for lunch. I’m thinking I’ll make the traditional Sunday Pancakes.

N.O.L. has been ingested. ‘Twas very nummy. OYKW is at his place to do some laundry. There’s talk of meetin’ up late this afternoon to get some Mexican commestibles. We shall see. I have tided up the kitchen and have a load of shirts in the dryer and a load of pants in the washer. I feel tres productive.
The living room looks huge with the tank and stand gone. It’s also really quiet in here.
Tomorrow, I’ll shampoo the carpet where the tank sat, plus do some spot cleaning, since I’ll have the machine out. Then on Tues, we can move the piano out of the green bedroom. And some time this week, I need to change the linens on the guest bed.
I think I’ll knit for a while.

FCM, I trust that Taz did NOT pee on the bed today! Why was he locked in the bedroom? Was that because the guy was coming for the aquarium stuff?
ABQ is HOT. LOL That is all! Oh yes, the chile roasting has begun in earnest now. Honestly, to me the smell of roasting chiles smells good, but I do realize that not everyone will like the smell. It does smell so good, though, but the chiles can be very hot to eat! And yes, they do take their chiles very seriously here in New Mexico, let me tell you. 
The green chile cheeseburger has become so wide-spread here that even McDonalds makes one (it’s probably only available in NM, but check with one in your area), and I can say with all honesty that (for McDonalds), it’s pretty tasty. LOL I’ve even gotten to the place that I put green chiles in casseroles, etc., which I’d never done before. I guess I’m liking the taste of em, to a certain extent, that is.

I’ve had it up to here with road construction. After an hour spent traveling 15 miles on I65, I’m finishing N.O.L. and hitting a nice US highway to avoid the mess south of Louisville.
I am putting the border on the Soon-to-Be-Ended Teal and Purple Blanket. To celebrate, I just spent all the money on some stuff on my Amazon wishlist.
Spaz shall we wait anxiously upon pics of the infamous never ending but soon to be ended Teal and Purple blanket? It has become somethin’ of a Mumper legend after all. 
Herbs I lurves me some green chiles.

It looks stormy west and southwest of here. That’s where most of our storms come from. We shall see.
**tarra **- yep, he was confined so we wouldn’t have to worry about him sneaking out. Same as Higgs was tossed into the yard so she wouldn’t be underfoot or bothering everyone.
Just finished watching an episode of Jesse Stone that I hadn’t seen. Then I fed Higgs and had me a PB&J. Smokey & the Bandit is on right now - I’ll probably resume the recline position and watching it for the gazillionth time.

Laundry is done, dishwasher is running, truck is clean(and parked away from trees). I picked up a few things at the Container Store.
Herbs, around here, they use jalapenos(but not on a steek)
Back from the consumption of Mexican commestibles. Soon to be Mexican combustibles. I had chile rellenos. I blame Herbs. She gave me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for chiles.
And that’s the news from swampland.
I think it’s time to assume the position and knit the night away.

Had a good time which I needed. We almost stayed an extra day but my friend couldn’t get tomorrow off. Bummer, because being a beach bum was starting to feel good. If I could afford it I’d say screw Hagerstown and move to Ocean City.
