Yeah, speaking of rhythmic gymnastics, the ROC is acting like Snoopy when he didn’t win the Daisy Hill Puppy Cup. From the links:
ROC: “We would like to have answers to a number of questions. We will seek a thorough probe into the judging situation at the Olympics by the relevant technical committee. We will make every effort to ensure the transparency of this process and make its results public.”

Wait, the Russians are complaining about biased judging at the Olympics?
It’s a Jewish conspiracy, it’s just instinctive for the Russians.
Or perhaps they paid off the wrong people. It wouldn’t be the first time it’s been suggested some Russian oligarch ponied up for a gold medal.
Not the Russians, as they weren’t at the Olympics. It was the Russian Olympc Committee.

I actually sorta feel for him. After about half a century of having the IOC in its pocket and making a complete mockery of what was supposed to be a prestigious international sports gala, having reality repeatedly megaton-punch them in the face…combined with the now completely undeniable reality that the good old days are ++NEVER++ coming back…has to be super hard. But you know what, if I could get used to a dozen of my favorite shopping hangouts closing down and video games going from endless delight to what-the-freak-was-I-thinking, Russia can get used to a level playing field that doesn’t give a crap about history.
Plus China’s left them in the dust, so they’ll never dominate the medal count again anyway.
