I won’t be able to attend personally (though I am planning a NYC trip in the foreseeable future so hopefully she’ll do another), but would LOVE to do this both for the living and the dead it would allow me to interact with.

To the above, please add and or modify:

-She hopes to include all of the above, time permitting in a two hour tour

  • She plan to have 8 x 10s of each subject, “and may even be able to share YouTube clips of some on my teeny-tiny phone”*

  • If there is anybody whose grave you would like to see and who you would like to hear about on the tour but they’re not buried in Woodlawn, simply secure the family permission and pay the handling of having them reinterred before that date and she will do her best to work them in
*Trivia: Eve has the only candlestick smartphone in existence.

If she makes it a three hour tour, she can take years to get back out.

Seriously, I’d love to go, if only Tennessee wasn’t so far away.

This would be perfect for me. I have a not quite unhealthy interest in visiting famous graves. Unfortunately I will be at a conference that day.

thank you for posting this. i will try my best to get there.

as it is 100 years for the lusitania, are any who sailed on her buried there?

/drool. I would adore this, but have other obligations.

And with enough notice, I could have probably arranged for all the clips on a tablet to make them easier to see =(

Damn, one more reason I wish I still lived in NYC.

If I can get a friend to drive me, and if Ms Golden will temporarily lift the restraining order, I can go.

If I can find a ride from New Jersey, I will definitely be there.

Would have been better at night with Liam Neeson springing out to surprise the tour group, but I guess you can’t have everything.
