…are (finally!) posted! Here they are:

Enjoy!
FYI, if this isn’t making the remotest sense (and given that I’m very tired as I post this, it probably doesn’t): Eve arranged a tour of the most fabulous stiffs at Woodlawn Cemetery, The Bronx. It has taken me a mere three weeks to get the pix up on line, but here they are in all their glory - the visitors include Eve, Billdo, Little Nemo, OxyMoron, Ukulele Ike, Mehitabel, MiaMouse, and CWN, and the inmates include Miles Davis, Bert Savoy, Olive Thomas Pickford, Duke Ellington, Isidor Straus, and Madame CJ Walker.
Why isn’t Eve in any of them?
I posted a lil’ comment under the picture of Chad and Oxy.
(I need a cigarette now.)
She’s in at least one picture.
Thanks for posting these, darling!
Maybe she took most of the pictures?
Absolutely one of the most surprising things I’ve ever seen. I am completely astounded. Aghast. Amazed and bewildered.
I’d always imagined Eve as a blonde.
Will wonders never cease?
Thanks, Oxy! It was a great tour and a great time; the rain held off and I’ll never forget that I was standing among The Jazz Great section when I heard that poor Gregory Hines had died that morning.
And Billdo and Nemo, went to Colleen’s again yesterday for lunch. Yep, the food was as good as the service was slow.
Eve, where’s the Castle Walk pic?
—I’m saving that for blackmail purposes.
Done, and done, Scott.
Now, we must arrange a downtown NYC historical walking tour! Anyone know of any?
Has anybody seen Ukulele Ike and Harry Morgan in the same room?
Just asking. . .
This is so cool.
There are just no famous dead people around here.
It’s almost enought to change my last name to **Schmuck **. (How cool is that name?)
Damn, I was expecting THE DEAD as in Grateful. I saw The Dead and “tour” and thought… well you know. I was expecting to see backstage pics of Eve hanging with Bobby, Mickey et al. I see the closest one she came to meeting was Jerry.
Bet I wasn’t the first.
Pretty cool, though. Not too many really famous people around Columbia, SC. Lots of Civil War (or, as it’s referred to around here - the War of Northern Agression) stuff and Charleston is full of ghost tours and old cemeteries.
Did they let you do any rubbings?
Just in the office upstairs . . . What? Oh, never mind . . .
Somehow I knew that I should have clarified that statement just a little better. What was I thinking with this crowd?
P.S. Scott:
Flattery will get you everywhere.
Cheers, and thank you.
sigh**
Sorry to resurrect a long dead thread but boy do I want to go on a cemetery tour with you all! Hopefully I can get out there… or you can come here:D I know our city cemetery like the back of my hand. That was my documentary phot class project a couple years ago… I have hundreds of pictures… such a relaxing place…
except for the ghost.
