Sunday Morning Puzzle #58 --- Movie Extras

The 21 obscured movie titles below all have something in common—and represent a complete current chronological set minus 2. There are extras. One word in each group does not belong and needs to be removed. These extra words, when placed in alphabetical order, will spell out the common factor by reading the last letters only. It would be wrong to conclude that the bolded words are the extra words. Bolded words (or numbers) are merely intended to serve a helpful purpose. This purpose should become apparent as the solver begins to discover the titles.

Can you find the titles and the common factor?

Bonus Credit: Make a word list (w/o the extra word, of course) for one or the other of the two missing movie titles.

Biotop, I think you’re missing three entries for the list, not just two.

The missing titles are:
DAY FIRED FRINGE GOAT READ

CHOP NO WIN

BANS CANAL DUB FAIL FLY HERE HOLD MOB OMIT TURN TURN WOOL

Hmm… I’ll have to check my sources… It’s not listed in my usually very reliable Videohound guide. I certainly agree it should be part of the list, judging from my memory of that picture.

But excellent work Mystery Dog! This was a toughie.

More bonus points to Mystery Dog:

I thought I had done the research, but I missed your #2 entry. Indeed, I should have sensed (or smelled) that the 1982 selection should have been on the list. It is definately not mentioned in Videohound…so I can only assume it was not available on video in 2001. Odd. I thought everything was on video.

Here’s a movie I’d have bet top $ would be on the list…but it is not:

**LAD **WAITER WORM
