Okay, while I hate all singing shows, the blatant ripoff of Mad Max mad me laugh.
I thought the one for the cruise line was kind of strange. Who was the narrator supposed to be? It almost sounded like they were going for a Kennedy accent, but not quite.
i do hope the 2nd half commercials are a tad less depressing.

But it was strange. In what context would he have been talking about the sea like that? Unless it had to do with his career in the Navy. Still an odd effect for a cruiseline commercial.

Incidentally I thought it was a fantastic commercial for a cruise line, but I grew up sailing.
I loved it too, but I’ve always had a strong affinity for the sea.

Don’t you think the poor dude at GoDaddy is watching the game (or at least looking at the commercials on YouTube) on his computer - they never did show what was being displayed on his screen. Is that the “replacement” commercial? I’ve seen better produced self-shot videos on porn sites.
I am the only one who finds it incongruous every time a Woody Guthrie song is used in a commercial? Especially when it’s “This Land Is Your Land”? Especially to sell a Jeep?
