I’m unreasonably enthusiastic about the Law & Order reboot.
Robot dog!
That robodog identified John Connor’s car and the commercial ended before the bloodbath.
Most inappropriate use of “Fly Me to the Moon” since it was the ending them to Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Turk and JD. Wonderful.
Commercials have been fairly non-notable this year so far.
Weirdly the movie and TV teasers have blown the product ads out of the water.
Lots of “celebrities”. Catherine O’Hara, the fat slacker from the pawn shop show, and Tommy Davidson
It’s no Eminem/Dylan/Eastwood introducing Chrysler, but we’ll take what we can.
Oh, yeah. An HBO show about Magic and the Lakers? Sweet.
I was amazed how they almost all sucked. Only one I liked was UberEats. The guy drinking the dishwashing liquid! I go. Oh wow! A guy drinking that! My boyfriend says, he’s not really drinking that, it’s colored water. Um, yes, I do know that, it’s the idea of it🙄
Or anyone’s who’s ordered from one, or tried to get a group of friends/family to give their orders… well, just anyone who’s ever had to make any decision.
Working on commercials, I used to rail at anyone who wrote “Words No One Would Ever Really Use.”
This ad was so refreshing: people talking the way people really talk!
No Jonas brother can out cool Tommy Lee Jones.
Over here in the UK we don’t get to see the commercials
The Doctor Strange one looks pretty damned tasty. And ScarJost was reasonably funny.
Kevin Smith showed this to us in Clerks almost 30 years ago. Good ideas never die, eh?
My favorite was the one with Arnold pictured as Zeus! Very creative and funny!
I have to admit, the thought that Scarlet Johansson is in a production so bad her husband is getting ready to fake his own death makes me laugh.
Neither. Universal. The Universal Studios theme parks (well, Islands of Adventure in Orlando, anyway) used to center around the Jurassic Park films, before they created Harry Potter-land.
How could they tell?
