Well, the numbers aren’t necessarily equal. One dude was looking at $4800 for a 10X10 $50 square game (- organizers cut) before the safety. And he is the type of guy would have picked up at least 10 friends tabs to celebrate. The other guy wasn’t in the bar, and wouldn’t pick up a tab to save his dying grandma anyway. So ~11 were unhappy vs 1 happy about it in that place.
I went to the parade in Baltimore today. It was awesome of course. This really hasn’t sunk in for a lot of fans yet.
Where were you along the route? I watched local coverage (WJZ) for awhile before work then listened to AM1090 on the road. The video of the crowds was astounding. I was damn happy to be watching it and not working it.
No, we went directly to the stadium and sat in section 232 Club Level. That was probably an experience I won’t have again. We didn’t get a chance to go on field but it was totally worth it. Traffic was a bitch though.
