They have the power to see through socks and trolls!
They can leap over tall arguments!
They have really bendy thumbs!
They can wear capes and get away with it!
This title doesn’t appear to be present anymore, but I can venture a guess as to its meaning. On the old version of the board, each mod was officially associated with one forum, but all had equal powers in all fora (sort of like city cops, working elsehwere in the state. They usually don’t, out of courtesy to other city police forces, but they can). I’m guessing that the easiest way to implement that situation in the current version was to make all of the mods “Super Moderators”, and then to manually change the title back.
But But BUT…
Chronos, YOU were a mod, what happened???
And, ftr, I was referring to the description under Cajun Man’s name (super moderator).
Chronos is correct. All the mods are super-mods, but not all of them have the title changed. I should go fix Cajun man’s title.
Shoot, I thought we were finally going to have a situation where the cape did enable the user to fly.
Gaudere’s an admin? When did that happen?
One month ago the moderator Gaudere, enraged by the tampering of the old board, burst into a fire brighter than a thousand suns. And though she burned, she was not consumed. Yesterday the fire was finally extinguished. From the ashes, she was reborn, as administrator Gaudere, and shortly thereafter assumed into heaven to take her place among the pantheon. Or something like that…
Dr. Lao, are you telling us that Gaudere moved to Phoenix?
Old news, but I’m glad you care. At the beginning of the fall semester, my classload got to be too much to put in mod time. I stepped down the same day that bibliophage and DrMatrix stepped up. I’m still on the SDSAB, though, so expect a few Reports once they return.
And speaking of status changes, it seems that Noodles has been administerized, as well. My guess is that since both he and Gaudere are so technically adept (IIRC, Gaudere is a graphics designer and Noodles is a database administrator), the Powers that Be decided that their skills could be useful to the administration of the board.
[fixed coding - DrMatrix]
Look . . . Up in the sky!
It’s a bird. . . . It’s a plane.
No, it’s Cajun Man!
Um…who is Noodles? Did I miss something?!?!
Arnold Winkelried is Noodles.
