You people think those are bad comics? What about the horror that was Herbie:

“Comely Comics”? What, so they’re admitting their artists suck?

Captain Canuck was cool.

I haven’t seen the new one, although it had a good ad in Previews. (Wherein Cap says he’ll take on any other Canadian superhero…until he’s informed that Wolvie’s a Canuck.)

Well, we Canadians are modest by nature.

I could have told ya. Why do you think I’m called SuperDUDE? Sumbitch and his lawyers…

Oh, I knew about the good Captain’s adventures, but I was never enough of a sucker to pay cash money for his comic book. However, the Neal Adams’ art on Skateman was a like a siren song lulling me to my doom.

I suppose I should reclassify it to the Worst-Comic-By-a-Seasoned-Pro-Who-Should-Know-Better. It’s one thing for some self-publishing amateur to put out dreck, but when a comics legend does it, it’s another story.

Speaking of legends. here’s Joe Simon’s

Captain Marvel? I got yer Captain Marvel righthere.

What Captain Marvel cartoon? Thre was the live action show of course (and DC did publish a Shazam! comic in conjunction with that). Do you mean Hero High? The Marvels made appearances there.

The one I recall the most had him battling crocodiles. Here i s proof I am not delusional. Here is some more: The Marvel Family Web | TV/Movies | Shazam! Cartoon

The fuh? I remember watching the Shazam! cartoon in 1976. (It was on right before The Krofft Supershow, featuring Electrawoman and Dynagirl. Electra Far Out!)

Superman enforces his trademarks very zealously.

No, wait, I’m thinking of the live action series. I can’t believe I was watching the Shazam cartoons in '81. It was better than He Man, I guess.

I know. Trust me, I know. The guy pictured is my stunt-double.

Hey, it could have been a lot worse.

I had to bump the thread because I just saw this panel:
