You’re a passive aggressive shit stirrer. You said you kept checking here to see if someone made a thread about me about you mentioned. I’m not important enough to you to make a thread. I’m important enough for you to keep dashing over here and looking for a new thread?
That’s pretty much what a shit stirrer who’s passive aggressive does.
Ah, the Pit. It takes a special kind of attention whore to start your own Pit thread because you’re not getting enough attention in the other forums. You, Trubie are that special attention whore.
Condescending attitudes are troublesome and annoying when they come from someone who has something to be condescending and pretentious about. You don’t. You seem to have staggered blindly through four years of “real” college without learning any communication skills. Your debate and reading comprehension is sub-par at best. You flaunt a superior “holier-than-thou” attitude at people who are better educated than you, and you’re clearly showing up for a battle of wits only half-armed.
I’m not wearing my moderator hat at the moment, so speaking only as a long-time member of the community at the Straight Dope, let me say that you are an intolerant, intolerable, punk who brings nothing of value to the party. Your attitude stinks, you’ve made no effort to become a valued member of the SDMB, and you’ve consistently proven yourself to be a stinking heap of worthlessness. At least if you had a sense of humor you might be entertaining, but you appear to lack even that.
I haven’t decided yet whether you’re a troll or simply an attention whore with no social skills whatsoever. But either way, you’re an idiot and I think we’ll be much better off after your departure.

I’ll stay here forever. Heck, I’m thinking of buying a new laptop. So, it won’t matter if I get banned.
I looked in the Pit once and commented that I found it odd you hadn’t been Pitted. How do you get “keep dashing over here and looking for a new thread” out of that?
This really varies a lot, though. Los Angeles Trade Tech is largely vocational, for example, and has a good many terminal programs of two years or less. By contrast, Santa Monica College also has some vocational stuff, but it also caters to students who want to complete the lower division of a four year degree. A lot of people finish the two years at SMC and transfer to UCLA, Cal, USC, and other selective schools. Obviously there’s a wide variety of outcomes for students, but if they’re willing to put in the work, and if the school offers the resources they need, a junior college can be equivalent to the first two years of university.
I KNOW she’s full of shit, and I don’t even have a college degree. I can even write and spell our language correctly, and am a published author. I also make near six figures, and most importantly, lots of people like me!
The thing I don’t understand, though, after reading through this thread and the linked thread is that the linked thread is about strange prejudices. The prejudice against community colleges is kind of stupid, but so are most of the other ones listed there. So why are people making a big deal about that and not “people who like medium steak”, or “bald people”? Those prejudices are equally stupid.
