I was going to post this as well but instead I’ll just second it. The *ubermensch * mentality that we have here sometimes is frightening.
Nothing wrong with that. Many of us are superior. 
Pedestrians.
When I’m acting as a pedestrian I take the attitude that every driver on the road is trying to hit me and I get the hell out of their way as quick as possible. When it looks like I’m in the clear I give them the nod and wave to thank them for not plowing me into oblivion.
I HATE people that mosey across the road without a care in the world; raging with the blistering speed and reckless abandon of a garden snail.
I’m not asking you to run, but for god’s sake pay attention and put at least a little bit of pep in your step.
Superior bastards.
Cisco - agreed about pedestrians. And the worst offneders are folks in their teens and 20’s who are probably the healthiest and could get across the street the fastest.
